The Leslie Street Spit is North America's most remarkable public urban wilderness. Started 40 years ago, it was intended to be a breakwater for harbour expansion, which was not needed due to a decrease in lake shipping

I visit by the Spit whenever I get the opportunity. I continue to collect different shapes and sizes of bricks and granite to add to my collection Each piece uniquely sculpted by the elements which has inspired me to create a new series of art installations
